For when love feels like home

Diptyque

Since its inception in 1961, Diptyque has become synonymous with unparalleled craftsmanship and the creation of sweet-scented masterpieces that transcend the ordinary. At the heart of Diptyque's allure is a commitment to excellence and a profound appreciation for the art of fragrance. Their refillable “Temple Des Mousses” candle smells like eden with notes of moss, matcha and cedar. We think it is the ideal gift for conscientious home lover. “In bohemian Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the artistic, intellectual and festive heart of 1960s Paris, the meeting of three multidisciplinary artists, united by their shared sense of beauty, love of nature and insatiable curiosity, marked the birth of a creative adventure. Diptyque opens the door to a singular world: a space bridging dreams and reality, intimacy and universality, where imagination runs free and creativity is unleashed.”

Cire Trvdon

Each Cire Trudon creation is a testament to the brand's unwavering commitment to excellence. With a heritage dating back to 1643, this venerable French maison has mastered the art of candle making, elevating it to an unparalleled level of sophistication. The candles are encased in regal vessels, adorned with the brand's emblematic gold seal, evoking a sense of decadence and refinement. For those who love a floral scent the Josephine candle is guaranteed to delight. “Founded in 1643, it was the provider of the royal court of Louis XIV, the Sun King, as well as most of the great churches of France. Cire Trudon was the biggest wax-producing factory in the French Kingdom during the 17th and 18th centuries. In 1762, in his encyclopaedia The art of the wax producer, engineer Duhamel du Monceau, praises the skills of the Trudons and gives the manufacture as an example. Such a level of quality led to King Louis XIV elevating Charles Trudon to the French nobility as Count Trudon des Ormes.”

Evermore London

All from their workshop in London, Evermore creates beautiful candles with enduring scents, meticulously crafted through a harmonious fusion of natural and man-made fragrances. Embracing a commitment to ethical principles, Evermore's candles are vegan, cruelty-free, and phthalate-free. These candles provide the perfect scent and atmosphere for an intimate and romantic evening. We love the Grove scent. A testament to the brand's expertise, this fragrance is an impeccable balance between earthy and warm notes, creating an ambiance perfect for an evening in for two. ”Motivated by her search for a cleaner fragrance and with an aspiration to build an entirely ethically minded business, Sarah Bell founded Evermore in 2014. With a desire to work creatively with her own two hands, Sarah took candle making up as a hobby. She was shocked by the raw materials used in many candle-making kits and it soon began to unfold that there was a market for an eco-conscience alternative.”

Petalon

Petalon’s story is unique, starting out offering flowers by bicycle exclusively to London postcodes. Evolving into a national service and eventually finding residence in the serene landscapes of Cornwall, Petalon has seamlessly integrated sustainability into the very essence of their exquisitely crafted bouquets. Petalon's approach to floristry is characterised by a selection of two weekly bouquets, complemented by the option to pre-order flowers for special occasions. Each arrangement not only embodies Petalon's commitment to aesthetic beauty but also serves as a testament to their transparent and thoughtful approach to sustainable floristry. Among their curated offerings, the Higher Love Valentine's bouquet stands as a favourite for us. The richness of deep reds intertwined with playful pops of pink is enough to capture any heart. ”Petalon was born in East London and founded by Florence Kennedy in 2014, shortly after her husband James began his bicycle manufacturing business. When James needed to send a bunch of flowers one day, they both realised there wasn’t much choice if you wanted to send something beautiful and original for a reasonable price. Surrounded by James’s bicycles, Florence and James began to form an idea for a better kind of flower delivery. Petalon was born, with the aim of offering beautiful yet affordable flowers, in a more conscious way.”

In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Grace & Thorn has created an extraordinary selection, of which our favourite is The Master. Characterised by dusty pinks and rich purple hues, this bouquet presents is a fantastic alternative to commonplace reds associated with the season. “When I opened Grace & Thorn in 2011, I was tired of seeing uninspiring rows of houseplants in plastic brown pots next to flowers forced into tight bouquets struggling to breathe, so I decided to do my own thing and bring out the best in plants, ready for their next home and encourage flowers to dance and sing! Since then my philosophy has been simple: help people to see flowers and plants in a different way.”

With an unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and a passion for the art of winemaking, each bottle from Gusbourne is a testament to the brand's dedication to perfection. Their Rosé sparkling wine is incredibly versatile with food but we personally love it as an aperitif. “From the moment we planted our first vines in 2004, our vision has been to create the finest vintage wines using grapes exclusively from our own vineyards. We grow the highest quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes across the Gusbourne Estate, with 60 hectares in Appledore, Kent and 30 hectares next to the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. These predominantly Burgundian clones yield smaller volumes of intensely flavourful fruit, which thrive in our unique microclimates.
